About the Role
Pinnacle Technology Systems is a growing audio/visual subcontractor company. We are seeking a full-time Level III AV Technician. You will be the lead technician onsite for the installation of audio/video integrated systems.
Essential Job Duties:
• Install complete AV systems based on a project’s scope of work while meeting expected project deadlines while complying to the company’s workmanship standards
• Interacts with customers to address questions, problems and or concerns
• Trains customers on systems, as needed
• Train coworkers to ensure adherence to workmanship standards while on job sites.
• Complete daily reports updating project manager of tasks completed and daily goals to complete a project in a timely manner.
• Keeps track of time spent on each job assignment and accurately reports this information through the company’s established system
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
5+ years of experience in audio and video installation. This includes but not limited to:
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve common and complex installation issues
Ability to completely wire a full-size rack to company standards
Proficient in reading and deciphering blueprints and schematics including the ability to interpret signal flow and wiring diagrams
Ability to use basic hand and power tools
Skilled in soldering techniques
Experience with various techniques used in pulling wire and cable
CTS certification preferred but not required. Must obtain certification within first year of employment
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the proven ability to effectively resolve conflicts
Prior experience working effectively as a team leader and directing the work of others
Ability to quickly process information, prioritize job tasks, and meet deadlines
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively within a team environment
Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets the company’s insurance standards
Must be able to travel to job sites
Work hours are typically Monday – Friday; however, overtime and weekend work may be required to meet job deadlines
